The ultimate summit meeting!: Painted in honor of my late Father's love of Africa. This gift to my Mother - as a memorial of their safari to Kenya, Africa - illustrates the story of the protective matriarch of the elephant herd letting my parents know that they were to come no closer. This actually happened during their three days of following and observing these beautiful wild animals!

"In Our Place"

Artist Carl Clasmeyer’s latest series of paintings, collectively named “In Our Place”, document the plight of the endangered frogs of the world as a metaphor for our own tenuous place on earth.

Clasmeyer has used beautiful scenery, landscapes, and sunrise/sunsets to hopefully inspire us to work towards a sustainable balance of resources, lifestyle, and co-existence with nature in our increasingly threatened environment. Carefully worded titles engage the viewer to ponder why we continue to allow pollution, conflict, and miss-use of our precious resources to threaten our very lives and future.
