"In
Our Place"
Artist
Carl Clasmeyer’s latest series of paintings, collectively
named “In Our Place”, document the plight
of the endangered frogs of the world as a metaphor for
our own tenuous place on earth.
Clasmeyer
has used beautiful scenery, landscapes, and sunrise/sunsets
to hopefully inspire us to work towards a sustainable
balance of resources, lifestyle, and co-existence with
nature in our increasingly threatened environment.
Carefully worded titles engage the viewer to ponder why
we continue to allow pollution, conflict, and miss-use
of our precious resources to threaten our very lives and
future.
