"The Dream"

It’s not about the money,
It’s not about the fame,
It’s not about who’s better,
Or who’s to blame…

The differences between us,
The color of our skin,
All seem so superficial,
When we reach the end.

If I could only show you,
The world within my eyes,
You couldn’t help but get it,
And you'd realize:

That the moments in an hour,
Or a week, or a day,
Are important to our time,
As the words we say…

And that all of us together,
Our thoughts and things,
Are the pieces of the puzzle:
The pearls on the string!

So if you think you’re drifting,
And not a voice to say:
You are the key to everything,
The light of the day!
