"Size"

No less wonder,
But in size
The lowly weed
So much it tries;
To be the grand
In gazing high,
In what it sees
It truly sighs.
In majesty
Of spreading leaves,
Its massive trunk,
The bark of cleaves.
The shadow cast
An awesome sight
In light of day,
And in moonlight.

In looking down,
It knows from him,
The weight it bears
In every limb.
All made of
The same great stuff,
No matter what
Seems not enough.
What the difference
In our form
We all get battered
In the storm.
So I'll shade you,
And water me,
With each other
The best we'll be!
